The Institut Jacques Monod’s platforms and technical facilities
To support its research, the Institut Jacques Monod has developed major technological platforms designed to offer high-level services. Run by highly specialized researchers and engineers, these platforms have a fourfold vocation: research, service, expertise and skills transfer.
The proteomics platform uses state-of-the-art mass spectrometry approaches for the high-throughput qualitative and quantitative study of protein constituents in living systems. Its mission is to provide the biology research community with cutting-edge skills and services for integrating proteomic approaches into the development of their scientific projects.
The Imagoseine imaging platform offers cutting-edge approaches in photonic and electron microscopy and flow cytometry to quantitatively analyze the dynamics of living systems, from molecules to whole organisms, including the study of sub-cellular, cellular and multi-cellular processes.
In addition to these two platforms, the institute has several technical platforms, built around the expertise of a number of teams, such as genome analysis, organoid culture, protein purification and paleogenomics.
